Tianjin Kashima Bicycle Industry Co., Ltd. was developed from the "Tianjin Bicycle Saddle Factory" established in 1964 under the original Flying Pigeon Group. The "Tianjin Bicycle Saddle Factory" was developed by Tianjin Bicycle Factory and Tianjin Bicycle  2nd factory was established in Yichang Road, Heping District, Tianjin.

In 1993, Tianjin Bicycle Saddle Factory, Tianjin Machinery and Equipment Import and Export Company, and Kashima Saddle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. jointly established Tianjin Kashima Fitness Products Co., Ltd. at the gate of Xiqing Development Zone, Tianjin. A Sino-Japanese joint venture specialized in the production of saddles for bicycles and electric bicycles. The products have been well received and trusted by customers at home and abroad. From this, Kashima saddles are officially named.

In 2016, in order to realize the long-term development of the company, Kashima carried out resource reorganization and established Tianjin Kashima Bicycle Industry Co., Ltd. The company is located at No. 9 Qingtong Road, Development Zone, Wangqingtuo Town, Wuqing District, Tianjin.
